Shipping Policy

Unlike other internet stores, we actually have a real store and stock many of the products we sell. Orders are processed several times a day, Monday – Friday and all in stock items are shipped usually within one day, excluding weekends and holidays. We offer several shipping options including free shipping for select Wisconsin agencies, free store pick up, USPS priority mail, UPS ground and free shipping on orders over $150 shipping to the Continental United States.  We offer low shipping rates and do not pad or inflate them for additional profit as some other online retailers do.

We are a stocking dealer and it is impossible to always have everything in stock, every day.  We do our best and stock the most popular items however what's commonly used in your city or agency might not be an item widely used on a national basis.  We are at the mercy of the manufacturer for backordered items.  Depending on the manufacturer and the product--backorders generally take just a few days, however depending on the item and what country it's manufactured in, it could take several weeks or even in rare cases months, before a item comes back in stock.  If the item you're ordering is a commonly used item and we don't have it in stock, most likely it has already been ordered from the manufacturer before you placed your order.  If we have difficulty getting an item, then it's likely on a national backordered and you'll have trouble finding other merchants with the same item (size/color/style) in stock. 
 
Keep in mind, if your item is shipped direct from the manufacturer or factory we have no control as to how fast they are able to process and ship a order. 



What do we stock?

As you may have noticed, our website like most of our competitors does not list inventory levels or stock status.  The reason is two-fold.  Unlike most of our online competitors, we also run a real store, in a real building with a real inventory.  We aren't just a website or hobby business that drop ships orders from various distributors.  We are unable to give a real time inventory from what's being sold to local customers and what's sold through our website.  The other reason is we not only ship the majority of our items direct from our store, we also drop ship some items direct from the manufacturer.  If you're purchasing equipment under a deadline and you're concerned if it will arrive on time, just send us an email with the part #'s and we can look up our inventory levels prior to ordering. 

Where Do We Ship & How Much?

We ship products throughout the United States and APO/AE address. We do not ship to international addresses. Our shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your order, your zip code and desired shipping method.

P. O. Boxes?

Yes, we will ship to your P. O. Box. Remember to select priority mail as UPS does not deliver to P. O. Boxes.

Tracking Your Order

When a tracking number is available we will email you that information when your order ships. Occasionally to get you your gear faster, some orders ship factory direct. Unfortunately not all manufacturers have the internal mechanism to promptly provide us tracking numbers.

Backordered Items

If part of your order is on backorder, you do not incur any additional shipping charges. Normally, in stock items are shipped immediately and your remaining backordered item(s) will ship when they become available from the manufacturer. If you are under a tight timeline and are concerned about the availability of a certain item, we encourage you to contact us by using the live chat button above prior to ordering.  Special order backordered items will be charged at time of order.  If your item is listed as "in-progress" or "payment received" please be patient.  This does not mean that your order is in limbo.  Orders are downloaded several times daily to our store for processing, however it could be hours or even in a few rare cases days before the online system is updated.  We use our store system to process our orders, not the website.  The website does not always provide an immediate view of your order progress or any changes.

Unlike other stores who need several days of "processing" or "handling" time before sending out your order, we strive to get all in stock items out the same day, however there are times that it takes us longer depending on the time of your order, where it's shipping from, the availability of that item or how many order we're currently dealing with on that day.

If an item on your order is on backorder, your account will be updated to one of two different types of backorder status.  To get the status of your order at any time, just log into the account you created during the order process.  Because of the many orders we process and ship daily, we are unable to call customers to advise of backordered items. 

* Backorder – enroute from manufacturer – The item has already been ordered from the manufacturer and should be coming in usually within 1 - 14 days depending on the manufacturer.  Sometimes it takes longer depending on the availability of that item and the manufacturer's prompty ability to get the item out to their dealers once they get it the item back in stock.  Over the years, we’ve found some manufacturers, although they have the item in stock, it takes them several days to process and ship an order out.
* Backorder – in production – The manufacturer has reported your item is out of stock. If we don’t have it and the manufacturer doesn’t have it, most likely you’re going to have a difficult time finding this item anywhere. This delay could be anywhere from a day, weeks or months depending on the item. You’ll find the majority of law enforcement and tactical gear is manufactured overseas and there is nothing we can do to speed up a manufacturer. Some manufacturers give us an approximate date of when the item is expected to become available rarely is this date accurate and they might tell us it will be a thirty day wait and we get the item back in stock the next day or they tell us it will be one week and it ends up taking them two months.  When you contact us, we’ll relay the information they provide us and can change without notice. Keep in mind that you are not the only customer waiting for this item and the manufacturers are doing everything in their power to quickly get their gear back in stock.

Restricted Items

We are unable to offer legal advice for the purchase of body armor, batons, gun accessories, pepper spray, stun guns or knives. We know that in some locations the possession of some of these items is a felony. If you are unsure if it is legal for you to purchase a certain item, we recommend you seek legal advice prior to ordering. We will not offer any suggestions and assume you are legally able to possess the items you have purchased. 
 
 
Certain items can only be shipped via UPS ground including pepper sprays, liquids, batteries and some large items (some bags, backpacks, etc.).  Even if you select a faster shipping method, by federal law if your order contains certain items that cannot ship via air--as a result your order will be shipped via UPS ground.
