Monadnock MX Positive Lock Expandable Batons

The MX expandable batons feature a 1" (2.54 cm) polycarbonate shaft housed in an anodized aluminum with your choice knurled or foam grip. Positive Lock Batons are lightweight, all aluminum expandable batons. They use a push button mechanism that keeps them from collapsing until you need them to. This also eliminates the awkward closing procedure associated with most Friction Lock Batons. These batons can be used with virtually all standard baton techniques and tactics or training programs. Like all Monadnock® products, these batons carry a lifetime repair or replacement guarantee.

The MX series batons feature a positve lock system and epoxy coated aluminum tube shaft. They open with the same high cracking sound as friction lock batons but lock open with a push button pin mechanism rather than friction; it cannot collapse until you want it to. Open it with a flick of the wrist or be gently pulling the shaft quietly and smoothly. To close, simply push the locking pin down and then push the shaft in from the tip.

Two-stage positive lock baton with a firm foam grip integrated into an aluminum frame, which has a black anodized finish. An expanding reinforced epoxy shaft has a weight forward design to produce an enhanced follow through momentum.

In-process inspection consistent with US Department of Defense Mil-Std-105E and United Kingdom Defense Ministry Specification DEF-131-A. All 4130 Steel Tubing has Mill Certification including the chemical analysis of the steel. CAD Drawings and Exploded Views are available upon request.

All Monadnock® expandable police batons have a repair or replacement guarantee, under normal field use, against breaking, bending, torn grip, and if rust or corrosion prevents the baton from functioning.
