CONTACTING US
Unlike the majority of online retailers, we also operate a real store. As a result we are not always able to answer the many telephone calls we receive and depending what’s happening in our store, the phones might not even be manned. To contact us you can either click on the live chat button on our website or send us an email to questions@code3tactical.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. We’ll usually get back to you within a couple hours. If you don’t hear back within 24-hours, feel free to contact us again.
BACKORDERED ITEMS
All in stock items are shipped within 24 hours Monday – Friday. When your order ships, we will email you with the tracking number. Unfortunately it is impossible to always have in stock every item that we sell. For example the popular Safariland 6005 holster has over 400 possible options and that’s just one product. We strive to maintain sufficient inventory levels of the most popularity ordered items. When we go out of stock we will update your order status with one of two statuses.
• Backorder – Enroute from Manufacturer
This means we are out of stock of your item, but it has already been ordered from the manufacturer. We expect your item to arrive any day. The day we receive it—we ship it! When we do order a certain product from a manufacturer the shipment generally arrives within 1 – 12 days depending on the manufacturer and how fast they process their orders. Unfortunately, some manufacturers take several days to process and ship out their orders and they all use a variety of methods to ship out our gear. Remember it is most likely that your backordered item has already been ordered from the manufacturer long before you placed your order.
• Backorder – In Production
When your order is marked “in production” this means we don’t have it and the manufacturer does not have it. If both we and the manufacturer are out of stock of a particular item it is extremely unlikely you’ll find it anywhere else. Sometimes the manufacturer is able to give us an approximate date of when the item is expected back in stock, but rarely is this correct. Sometimes we get the item much sooner, sometimes much later.
Most people don’t realize, but nearly every law enforcement and military manufacturer has their gear produced in factories overseas. They are then shipped via cargo container (a boat) to the United States where they go through a customs inspection and are then shipped to the manufacturer’s warehouse. From there they might go through a qualitity inspection and then be packaged for shipment. Even manufacturers that produce their own products here in the United States, rely on foreign companies for their raw materials. With so many variables involved in the process it is often difficult to provide an exact date of expected delivery.
When your order is in production and you contact us for information about the order, we will pass on information as provided to us by the manufacturer. We might be told an item is expected back in stock within 7 days and the next week we might check back with the manufacturer and they might tell us 2 more weeks.
• Backorder – Special Order
There are some items that the manufacturer does not stock and is made on demand. Items such as BlackHawk’s Dynamic Entry Tools, select holsters and various other items are produced on demand. Production time varies anywhere from 1 – 60 days. Most special order items ship within 10 – 25 days.
RETURNS
We are unable to accept returns for defective products. You will need to contact the manufacturer directly. If you need a manufacturer’s contact information, we’ll be happy to assist you. If you made a mistake and ordered the wrong size, color, etc., we’ll be happy to offer a full refund or exchange, minus shipping charges. You must contact us within 14 days of the delivery date and the item must be in a new, unused, untested, unopened and sellable condition. Simply contact us for a return authorization number either by emailing us to questions@code3tactical.com or by clicking on the live chat button on our website. CANCELING YOUR ORDER
You can cancel your order for any reason with 24-hours notice. Occasionally we might have some items shipped direct from the manufacturer. Once we place an order with a manufacturer depending on the manufacturer we might not be able to cancel your order. If your order was a special order item we do reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% of your order total, not including shipping. To cancel your order simply send us an email to questions@code3tactical.com with your request. Your order will be canceled and refunded in full within 24-hours. On occasion we have had some customers contact their credit card company and dispute the charges to their credit card rather than contacting us. If a customer chooses to cancel their order by disputing charges to their credit card rather than contacting us, we will charge a $25 fee to be collected by our collection agency.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Because of the extra cost of shipping internationally, your order will not ship unless all items are in stock. Once everything you ordered is ready, your order will ship in full.
