This spike assembly is designed to attach to any version of the MOD CQD Mark I folding knife via the off-side holes for the clothing clip. This folding spike is used to quickly pierce holes in explosives for the placement of blasting caps. It can also be used as a marlinspike for splicing and untangling rope and line. The spike comes complete with extended mounting screws and the Allen-head wrenches necessary for attaching it to the Mark I. Note that thread-locking compound (not included) should be used when attaching this accessory to prevent loosening of the mounting screws.
